Precision Timing promo
Agency: Talented Minds Client: Precision Timing I was asked to animate and composite a promo for Precision Timing to show its RFID chip technology being used across different disciplines by athletes and race organisers to accurately track a competitors progress and relay this information to scoreboards and timekeeping devices. Richard the director shot an athlete running, swimming and cycling on a greenscreen sound stage. I had to track camera moves remove wires, treadmills, chairs and cycle trainers as well as make frame by frame adjustments and cleanup to halos on the greenscreen and artifacts in shot. I designed and animated the backdrops based on guidelines by the director and producer who wanted a quite minimalist environment reminiscent of isometric or ISO map design. The grade on the athlete was chosen to help tie him in with the colourscheme of the Precision Timing logo. I am particularly happy with some of the more complex transitions of the swimmers movement into the cycling scene and the 3d pan and rotate shots of the runner and cyclist as well as the logo transition at the end.
